I HAVE THIS FAIRY TALE IN MY HEAD THAT I "KNOW" WILL COME TRUE AND IT WILL CONSIST OF A TALL DARK AND GORGEOUS MAN WHO IS FUNNY, ATHLETIC, SENSITIVE, SPIRITUAL, SMART, DEBT FREE, AND, OH YA, RICH. Well I had a minutes so I thought I would catch everyone up on our lives. We are all still it keeping busy. Josh is almost out of school, just 1 week left. He is so ready to be done he has 4 big projects due so he has been working hard on them. One of them is a research paper on autism. They got to pick a disease or illness of some sort and he chose autism. I haven't seen yet so it will be fun to see what he came up with. another one is he had to pick a bridge design and build it out of toothpicks and to a report on it. He said that his bridge didn't turn out real good but he had fun doing it. He is still playing baseball. He is doing real good, he had a game last night and hit a 2 run homerun. He was pretty proud as were we. He actually hit really good last night. He has been struggling a little bit with hitting, he admitted last night that he listened to his dad and it worked. Wow parents aren't as dumb as you think they are huh Josh!! He is gearing up for a busy summer full of stuff. We are all looking forward to the Forte Family and The Iowa Pluids visit this summer, it is going to be a blast.

We went camping over memorial day weekend with Rachel and Jeremy Hill, Chris and Kali copley and their families and some others at Robinson lake and we had a blast. It rained a little but we all had campers so it wasn't bad. Josh had 2 friends come and they were crazy. They all had a lot of fun. I will try to get pictures posted when we go to Ron and Beckys tonight.

Mothers day weekend was fun. My mom made it here so Matt and his family and Jamie, Josh and I took her camping at Smith Lake, Josh skunked everyone at fishing catching 4 I think. It was a great ending to a pretty awful week for us.

Oh I don't think that I ever got a chance to brag about beating everyone at the basketball tournament bracket. It was pretty competative in this house (if you could imagine that).

Well I better go and get to work. I hope all is well with everyone and we can't wait to see everyone this summer.

PORTHILL CEMETERY CLEANUP

WE HAD THE PORTHILL CEMETERY CLEANUP LAST SATURDAY. THIS IS IMPORTANT TO GRANDPA TO HAVE US ALL PARTICIPATE IN THE CLEANUP. OF COURSE HE IS THERE WORKING AS HARD AS EVERYONE ELSE.

JAMIE WENT WITH DAD AND I THIS YEAR. IT WAS GREAT HAVING HIM THERE. LISA AND JOSH WERE AT A 4-H MEETING SO THERE COULDN'T BE THERE. JAMIE WORKED LIKE A CRAZY MAN AND HELPED GET IT ALL DONE.

DAD HELPED LAMAR OLSEN SET SOME HEADSTONES. DAD IS ON THE CEMETERY BOARD AND IS LEARNING HOW TO DO ALL THAT LAMAR CAN SHOW HIM. DAD ALSO HAD TO HELP CARRY THE ASHES OF FOREST DRAKE AND BURY THEM PLUS PUT ON THE HEADSTONE. IT WAS A LITTLE WEIRD FOR DAD TO CARRY SOMEONES ASHES, HE OFFERED TO LET ME HOLD THEM, BUT I PASSED.

STACEY, CALE, SABRINA, SARAH, PAM, BRITT, AND THEIR KIDS WERE THERE HELPING. SABRINA, STACEY AND SARAH ARE ALL ON THE BOARD TOO.

KOOTENAI RIVER

THE RIVER WAS CLOSE TO FLOOD STAGE THIS WEEK. IN FACT THE MOYIE DID FLOOD AND EASTPORT WAS DECLARED A STATE OF EMERGENCY. THEY WERE WORRIED ABOUT ALL OF THIS DEBRIS AT THE RAILROAD BRIDGE..

MORE YARD WORK

DAD GOT TO USE FOUST'S "DIGGER" TO CLEAR A FEW STUMPS OUT OF THE YARD. DAD HAD NEVER RUN ONE BEFORE, BUT DID A GREAT JOB. ONLY PROBLEM .... WE ONLY HAD IT A DAY BEFORE THE LOWBOY CAME AND PICKED IT UP ... THERE WAS A FIRE UP 20 MILE THAT HAD TO BE PUT OUT!!! OH WELL, IT WAS GREAT WHILE IT LASTED. WISH WE COULD HAVE HAD IT HERE FOR A WEEK, THERE ARE A LOT OF STUMPS AND CLEARING TO BE DONE ON THE 7 ACRES.

The cooks for the day ...... Jon and Megan did an awesome job, turkey and the works. Good job you guys and thanks!! Jamie and Dad, thanks for the clean-up.



It was a good Mother's Day, I was happy to have half of my kids home to spend the day with me.


My Mother's Day present ... thanks everyone for the shoes, I love them. I haven't put them to the test yet (running shoes) but I hope soon.

Kelly, how fun for you to have your Mom finally there. I'm glad that you got to see the bridges, hopefully I will be able to see them before you Iowa. Hey I just wanted to tell everyone hi and let you all know what's up with us. we are staying busy with work,finally. It was a long winter, we are all glad that it is over. Jamie is back to work and we were all very excited over that, well at least i was. n our spare time.

Josh is keeping us busy in our spare time. Last weekend was his last AAU tournament. He is excited that it is over only because that means his dad to longer is his coach, his friends dad is the other coach. They lost but they played ok. Josh Had a couple of rough games but he did good. So now we are into baseball. He is really having fun even though he had to kinda talk him into it. His first game is Wednesday in Sandpoint, he plays in sandpoint twice a week. He has some young kids on his team that aren't really that good so it makes him look really good! It should be an interesting season. He has a busy summer ahead of him he has his pigs for fair and they are already getting is big, he has hoopfest in spokane June 28-29, he has a week of basketball camp in July, the bonners ferry 3 on 3 tournament in August and a week of fair in August. Right now he is looking forward to the end of school they only have a month left. It will be a busy month he has a band concert the 13 a field trip to Silverwood the 14th (does anyone remember ou field trips they were never that cool) He also has a baseball game that day. they have another fiald trip as well. He is doind great in school he got straight a's again the last quarter. So as you can see we are busy but having fun.

We are ready for the weather to be nice so we can do some camping. we are tired of the cold.

I wish I could get some pictures on here but my computer is stupid but maybe i can take it to Becky's and put some up. I hope everyone is doing good. Can't wait to see everyone soon.
