Megan's Visit to Iowa

Yeah!!! We love visitors. Thanks so much for coming Megan. We took a little side trip down towards Kansas City to take in some of the Church sites. View of Adam-Ondi-Ahman

We also stopped by Far West.

I think Meg's favorite was Liberty Jail.

We also stopped in Independence and toured the Visitor's Center there. This is a picture of Chase taking a time out from the tour. He was being pretty naughty.
My favorite part of the tour was when the sister missionary asked Austin, "What do we need to do so that we can see our Heavenly Father again." Austin's response, "We have to die."
On Monday, before Megs left, Jacob actually got to hang out with us. That was a rare treat for me so I was excited. We only had a couple of hours so we decided to drive over to see the covered bridges. We did manage to find one and it was pretty lame.
We decided to make a quick stop in Winterset and took this picture in honor of Ron.
Yes, it is the birthplace of John Wayne. Exciting stuff, I know. (Becky, maybe this will be enough to convince Ron that you need to take a road trip out here.)

And across the street from John Wayne's house was by far the highlight of the trip for Jacob. He was so excited when he spotted this next picture he could hardly contain himself. That being said he made Megan pose for the picture.

Thanks for coming Megan. We can't wait to see you again this summer!
